Members of a local organization will be outside grocery stores in the area today, raising money for veterans. According to Brenda Reece, President of the Richmond AmVets Ladies Auxiliary, says with the White Clover Drive, they’ll be selling the clovers with proceeds ending up at the VA Hospital in Iowa City. She says this is their first year participating in the national fundraiser. Volunteers will be outside Fareway in Washington, Freeman Foods in Wellman and JW’s in Kalona this afternoon.
