The Kalona City Council looked at designs for a wellness center this week. Martin Gardner Architecture presented preliminary conceptual designs, as well as cost estimates, at the Council’s meeting Tuesday.

City Administrator, Ryan Schlabaugh, says, following the presentation, city staff was directed to create a committee to discuss a shared building with representatives from Mid-Prairie School District.

The committee will consist of Schlabaugh, the Parks and Recreation Director, two council members, and Kalona residents. If you’re interested in joining the committee, contact city hall.
