The Washington Demon volleyball team fell to Fairfield last night in a sweep.

Fairfield won 25-8. 25-14 and 25-5, Washington came within three points of the Trojans in game two before giving up the rally that ended the game.

Washington head coach Julianna Berg said there is a hump her team needs to get over to be able to win those games.

“We talked about it tonight in the locker room, I said ‘what can I do for you guys to help you to be able to get over that hump,’ and I did, I said ‘how can I help you get over that hump, because there is something there just blocking you guys,’ because we get to the 14, 15 point range and we just can’t quite finish the game out,” Berg said.
