A discussion started at the last Kalona City Council meeting will continue tomorrow. On the agenda is more consideration of the Bunker Mill Bridge’s future, which burned in a fire last month. It’s been decided the city won’t pay to inspect the bridge or repair it. At their last meeting, the council directed City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh to see if there are community members interested in financing the relocation of the bridge.
