The Fall Fest returns to Kalona’s Historical Village this morning. The event is running today from 9am until 9pm, and tomorrow from 9am to 5pm. According to Nancy Roth, organizer of the event, the festival has grown over the years, but says otherwise not much has changed. The buildings on the village grounds will be open, and some will feature demonstrations of things like yarn spinning and weaving.
