The Golden Hawks turned their fortunes around last night, sweeping Washington in the county rivalry.

Mid-Prairie won 25-19, 25-13 and 25-14.

Taylor Kurtz led the team in kills with 13, while Ashley Miller had nine kills and a team leading 13 digs and Courtney Shalla dished the ball 29 times to lead her team in assists.

Mid-Prairie moves to 4-8 on the season and will play Durant next on Tuesday, while Washington falls to 1-10 and has tournament play this weekend in Ottumwa.
