School Board Elections Today

School board elections are being held today.
Washington Community School District has three open seats with only two candidates on the ballot; Patty Roe is on the ticket for District 5 and Heidi Vittetoe is for the At Large position. Roe and Vittetoe currently serve on the board.
Mid-Prairie School District has board president Jim Hussey and Stacia Bontrager seeking reelection with Jeremy Pickard running to fill out the remainder of the term he was appointed to. Also on the ballot are William Kinneer and Jeremy Statler – all positions are at large.
Highland’s School Board has one contested race with Laura Temple Scheetz and Megan Allen looking to represent District 5. Rachel Longbine is running for District 1, Kevin Engel for District 3 and Lois Schneider for District 4.
