WACO got their homecoming win over Danville on Friday 28-11.

The Warriors got out early with a 14 point first quarter, scoring their first points off a 20 yard Braden Blake touchdown pass to Isaac Black, and then Cey Saeugling tacked on the other score with a 12 yard run with the converted two point conversion to make it 14-0.

The second quarter was scoreless as WACO took the 14-0 lead into halftime.

In the second half Danville got on the board first with a field goal to make it 14-3, but WACO came back with another touchdown, this time by Tucker Janecek to make it 21-3. Danville scored right after that on a 86 yard kickoff return touchdown by Austin Malicki to make the score 21-11, but WACO held the Bears and put one more score on the board off a one yard run by Janecek to make it the final 28-11 in the third quarter.

WACO is now 2-3 overall and plays Lisbon next week.
