The Washington County Board of Supervisors took two steps closer to rescinding zoning yesterday. The board approved on a 3 to 1 vote, the third reading of the proposed Washington County Ordinance to Rescind Zoning which will go into effect in just three weeks, on September 27th. The board also held a public hearing and approved the first reading of the Washington County Floodplain Management Ordinance, which will coincide with the zoning ordinance, and take effect on September 27th.
