In total, 156 voters of the 6,856 registerd voters, or 2.3%, took part in the Washington School Board elections this week. In Washington precinct, 125 people voted while 15 voted in Brighton precinct and 16 voted absentee according to unofficial results from Dan Widmer, Washington County Auditor. Heidi Vittetoe of District 5 received 123 votes and Patty Roe with the At Large position had 125 votes. Terry Engelken received 12 write-in votes for the District 2 seat.
The public measure for Kirkwood Community College passed with 114 yes votes and 8 no votes, only 50% was needed to pass the measure.
