Lone Tree Communtiy Schools were in a lockdown this morning, but have now returned to normal routine. Superintendent Michael Reeves stated that at approximately 9:20 a.m. a high school student was confronted at the door when he seemed dangerous. Reeves confirmed that a weapon was found and that it was not a firearm. He did not name the student, but said that the student is likely facing charges.

The lockdown lasted nearly two hours. Johnson County Sheriff’s personnel assisted at the school.
