Mid-Prairie School District is enjoying the benefits of open enrollment. Over 200 students that live in other school districts chose to attend Mid-Prairie this year. Business Manager Cindy Steege says the extra $1.2 million in funding that generates helps tremendously. She says it allows them to offer courses that similar sized districts can’t, like Mandarin Chinese.
