At approximately 1:50PM Wednesday afternoon a two vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Lexington Boulevard and Highway 1 in Washington. One of the vehicles, a PT cruiser ended up in the ditch. Injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Responding to the scene were Washington Police, Washington Fire Department, Washington County Sheriffs Department, Washington Rescue, Washington County Ambulance, Iowa State Patrol and area first responders.
