The Washington Chamber of Commerce held a forum last night for the six candidates for Washington County District 5 Supervisor. The candidates were asked prepared questions and questions from the audience, which covered the topics of the subdivision ordinance, Richmond and Rubio, tourism and visions for the future. Many candidates envision economic development while avoiding raising taxes. The six candidates are Randy Payne, Allen Fuhr, Merle Hagie, Richard Young, Jerry King and Terry Philips.
