According to harvest reports from the Iowa Soybean Association, in Washington County, a 92-acre soybean field planted on May 21 averaged 45 bushels per acre and corn-on-corn is yielding 40 bushels less per acre than corn after soybeans. Corn yields in the area are ranging from 100 to 235 bushels per acre.
