The City of Kalona is preparing for fall road work. A bid letting and public hearing on the handful of projects will be held during the City Council’s October 21st meeting. Mayor Ken Herington says the estimate for the work is around $115,000. The projects will involve resurfacing short stretches of road with asphalt, while chipseal is being considered for low-traffic areas.
