The group working to save Bunker Mill Bridge have decided against an inspection. According to Suzanne Micheau, managing director of Friends of Bunker Mill Bridge, they have sent an engineering report done before the arson and pictures of the bridge after it was set on fire to a metal bridge expert. Bach Steel out of Michigan submitted their scope of work report yesterday. The report includes estimates for material, labor and engineering. If the non-profit’s board decides to approve it this afternoon, it will be used when they go before the Washington County Board of Supervisors next week to request the purchase of the bridge.
