The Mid-Prairie volleyball team played at Durant this weekend at a tournament and went 0-6.

The Golden Hawks closest match was a three set match against Grinnell that they won the first set 21-13, and then dropped the next two 21-10 and 15-11.

The other matches were Fort Madison who won 21-19 and 21-13; Solon who won 21-5 and 21-15; Durant-Bennett winning 21-15 and 21-8; Davenport Assumption who won 21-17 and 21-12; and Davenport West who won 21-18 and 21-18.

The Golden Hawks had 70 kills total in the tournament, 128 digs and 16 blocks.

Head coach Cindy Miller said it was fun playing some of the larger schools, and that many of the girls played very well during the matches.

Mid-Prairie is back in action on Thursday for the Conference Tournament in Wilton.
