A free service is being provided for men and women in the Washington community who are out of work and applying for jobs. Iris City Cleaners of Mt. Pleasant, which now has a location in Fareway, is offering a free cleaning of any two-piece outfit for women and men who are interviewing for jobs.

Ed Longanecker, owner of Iris City Cleaners, decided to provide the service to help area job seekers across Southeast Iowa. T

hose who would like to take part in this program simply need to drop off their items at Fareway and tell the staff that they have a job interview in the near future and then Iris City Cleaners will clean the garments and bring them back for pick up.
