Washington Community High School is hosting an open house to provide more information regarding concurrent courses with Kirkwood. Tera Pickens Washington County Regional Kirkwood Center Director explains that the informational session is open for students in grades 8 through 11 and their parents to learn about the earning college credit while attending high school and what Washington is offering currently, as well as the new regional center’s career academy opportunities. Some of the career academies are advance manufacturing, graphics, communication and paramedic specialist.

Pickens will be at Mid-Prairie’s parent-teacher conferences tonight to answer any questions and will also be at Highland High School on October 28th at 6 p.m.

The Washington open house will be October 23rd from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
