Mid-Prairie football looks to bounce back after their tough loss to Mediapolis in which they led in almost all of the statistical categories.

The Golden Hawks continue to pass the ball with Reid Miller, who is 76-128 for 914 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions. Eesaa Baylor has continued to push forward with the run game as well, taking 91 handoffs for 583 yards and five touchdowns.

The receiving core is led by Zach Schwartz with 282 yard and three touchdowns and Austin Errthum with 214 yards and one touchdown.

West Burlington is 1-3 in the district and took a 48-14 loss last week. Brent Wrede is their quarterback going 71-110 with 1,137 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions.

On the ground Tim Williams leads the way with 431 yards on 53 attempts and five touchdowns and receiving wise it is one player doing most of the work with Xavier Williams, who has 33 catches for 551 yards and five touchdowns.

Mid-Prairie can clench a spot in the playoff with a win or a L-M loss. Tonight’s game is senior night at Mid-Prairie, with kickoff at 7:30.
