Mid-Prairie will host their homecoming game tonight, when the Wildcats of Columbus Junction come to town.

The No. 13 Golden Hawks grabbed a second half win last week to improve to 4-1 and are led by Reid Miller under center who is 51-91 with 664 yards and four touchdowns and interceptions.

Eesaa Baylor is top running back for the Golden Hawks with 349 yards and three touchdowns, while Austin Slabaugh has been getting a few less handoffs, but still sits in second with 204 yards and two touchdowns. Zach Schwartz is the top receiver for Mid-Prairie with 206 yards and three touchdowns off 14 catches while Canaan Powell sits in third in yards but has 10 catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

Columbus Junction is 1-4 this season, losing a 75-38 to L-M last week. They are quarterbacked by Ethan Leyden who is 50-96 with 573 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. Maurcio Ramierz is the leading rusher, with 620 yards on the ground and four touchdowns, while Chase Finke is the top receiver with 173 yards and a touchdown off 18 catches. Ricky Rivers and Ramirez both have two touchdown catches.
