Changes suggested by the Housing Task Force will be discussed at tomorrow’s Washington City Council meeting. Slated for tomorrow’s agenda is discussion of establishing a rental housing regulatory and inspection program and creating a committee to foster community and neighborhood pride. The Housing Task Force, which was led by Karen Gorham, presented recommendations to the city council in July regarding landlord responsibility, housing stock improvement and showed photos of deteriorating properties in the city of Washington.
The council will meet at 6 p.m. at the Washington Public Library.
