A problem with soybeans this year may not affect yields, but will make harvest more difficult. Stine Seed Agronomist John Furlong says some farmers are finding that green leaves are still attached to their dead soybean plants. Usually they fall off. He says this will make combining more difficult, so farmers may have to go slower. Furlong blames the problem on the extreme weather during the growing season.
