The Washington County Board of Supervisors are holding a special session meeting to discuss the Bunker Mill Bridge. Yesterday the supervisors discussed with the Friends of Bunker Mill Bridge the process of purchasing the bridge. It is the request of FBMB to purchase the bridge in time to submit a grant application to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation by Thursday afternoon. The supervisors request that the group bring easements signed and ready to record, proof of liability insurance, a revised purchase agreement and temporary agreements with landowners regarding construction. County Attorney Larry Brock will review the documents before the meeting if enough time is allotted; he is preparing for court which begins on Tuesday. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
