The Washington County Board of Supervisors discussed adjusting the fees for planning and development in the county. Supervisor Jack Seward proposed lowering the fees that are currently $100 for floodplain permits and minor subdivisions and $150 for variance and appeals of administrator decisions. Seward states that he proposes fees that are $20 or $50 except for platting and subdivision fees, which go up to $100. The supervisors tabled discussion and will revisit the topic next week.
