Super heroes, princesses, zombies and more will soon be trick-or-treating around the square in Washington. The Washington Chamber’s annual family-friendly Halloween event, Trick-or-Treat Around the Square, is Thursday. Dani Kane, Assistant Director of the Chamber, states that last year approximately 800 kids took part in the event and they are expecting even more this year.

In addition to the children’s activities which include free games, hay rides and a bounce house, the Chamber is adding Moonlight Madness for downtown retailers. The three-day event will give adults the chance to enjoy the holiday, too, with specials at downtown retailers from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
