A non-profit will recognize a veteran in Winfield today. Russel Cline, a Korean War veteran and Purple Heart recipient, will have a ceremony held in honor of his service at Sunrise Terrace Nursing Facility. The ceremony includes the reading of the Soldiers Psalm, Pledge of Allegiance, a poem, and the presentation of a lapel pin. HCI Hospice Care Services holds the pinning ceremony for all of the veterans they care for, and have recognized 10 individuals since starting the program in June.
