Rivalry night last night as WACO and Winfield- Mt. Union squared off with WACO getting the win.

The game was a close contest in the first half, despite WACO being the only team with points.

In the first quarter they got a score from Tucker Janecek from 14 yards out to make it 6-0 after the failed two-point conversion. In the second quarter it was Janecek again from 45 yards and another failed conversion made it 12-0 at half.

In the third quarter the Wolves make it interesting, scoring the only points of the third quarter with Max Fricke from 23 yards out to make the score 12-8, but WACO had none of it in the fourth quarter.

The Warriors put up 22 points in the fourth quarter, with Braden Blake hooking up with Dylon Carlson for a 17 yard touchdown pass, and converting the two points to make it 20-8, then a 24 yard touchdown pass from Blake to Cey Saeugling made it 28-8, and the final score was a Carlson 85 yard pick six to make the final 34-8 score.

WACO improves to 3-4, while WMU falls to 2-5.
