The WACO football team had a dominating performance last night to get a district win.

The Warriors dominated New London the entire game on their way to a 53-14 win.

New London started the game off on a 86 yard kickoff return touchdown, but WACO answered with Bryce Achen scoring on a seven yard run and kicking the PAT to make it 7-6 and then a 48 yard run by Cey Saeugling made it 14-6 in the first quarter.

The second quarter is when WACO really put their foot down, scoring four times, one off a Tucker Janecek four yard run, a 10 yard run by Achen, a 12 yard run by Janecek and a seven yard run by Dylon Carlson to make the score 40-6 at halftime.

Both teams slowed down in the second half, as New London again led the half off with the first score on a Quincy Porter 74 yard run to make it 40-14, but WACO scored soon after on a 43 yard run by Janecek and a 36 yard run by Achen was the only score in the fourth quarter and wrapped the game up 53-14.

WACO completely dominated the stat sheet, holding New London to 189 yards and gaining 520 themselves in the game.
