A class at WACO High School has students learning the ins and outs of the stock market, without having to risk anything. In Mark Creamer’s Workplace Readiness course, students have been given $10,000 to invest in companies of their choosing. Students are using reports on the internet, in newspapers and on television to influence their decision making. Creamer says, as an added incentive to keep track of their investments and make informed decisions, extra credit will be given to those who earn a profit.
