The WACO volleyball team had to go five sets against West Burlington- Notre Dame to move on in the regional playoffs, but they got the win and stayed alive.

WACO won 3-2, winning all of the odd sets. Winning set one 25-21, losing set two 25-22, winning set three 25-22, losing set four 25-20 and winning set five 15-11.

Aaliyah Brown had 17 kills on the night for WACO, followed by Rosemary Skriver with 12 and Erika Leichty with nine. Skriver also led the team in digs with 34, while Ashlyn Hammen had 36 assists, and Leichty and Bailey Graber both had three blocks on the night.

With the win WACO moves on to face New London next Tuesday. The one and only time that WACO has played New London was at a tournament and they went three sets, trading 21-17 wins, until New London won set three 15-10.
