Wellman’s annual festival focused on pork and the pork industry is being held tomorrow. Event Chairperson Lori Witthoft says the Quad County Pork Fest was started three years ago to celebrate the big part pork producers play in the local economy. Popular activities in the past, including the pork burger eating contest and “guess the weight of the pig” game, will be making a return. There will also be a chance to see a sow give birth. The festival begins with breakfast at 7 in North Park.
