The City of West Chester is under a boil order until further notice and is likely to last throughout the weekend, according to personnel with the city. Work at the West Chester water plant is expected to cause issues today. Residents of the city should anticipate problems with their water supply between 8am to 6pm according to Mayor Chad Peiffer. During that time, contractors will be replacing the well pump at the water plant. Peiffer says service will be “sporadic.”
