Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Washington County will host an Aerial Applicator Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators on Wednesday, December 13th. The program is provided by the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP). The course will fulfill 2023 continuing instruction requirements for commercial pesticide applicators certified in category 11. Some of the topics covered will include information on personal protective equipment and safe handling; storage of pesticides, including chemical security; and pest management. The registration fee for this course is $45. Pre-registration is required, walk-ins are not guaranteed admission.
