Congressman Dave Loebsack was in Washington over the weekend to discuss the impact of stalled legislation on rural communities. It was part of a weeklong series of roundtables, where Loebsack discussed the importance of passing the Farm Bill with farmers and other rural community leaders. While at the Washington Library, he said the main concern he’s heard from farmers is the potential for a shift from direct payments to crop insurance support.
