Today is Veterans Day and currently a 2012 Pekin High School graduate is serving in the Navy aboard the USS Constitution in Boston. Fireman Tony J. Dailey is stationed on the oldest commissioned ship in the U.S. Navy, also known as “Old Iron Sides.” He shares that one of his favorite parts about this position, is being part of color guards, including during the first game of the World Series. He hopes to make a career out of the military and to later study to be a pediatric surgeon.
