The Washington Demon basketball teams will take on WACO in the Iowa hall of pride game tonight for a boy/girl, scrimmage double header.

The game will not count on their records, but rather be a game in which giving back to the community is the focus. The entry fee for this game will be two non-perishable food donations, but they will accept any number in addition to the two for admission.

Also at the game will be a donation bowl, where you can donate money to help the two schools raise money to stop hunger.

Passes will not be accepted to this game.

The Demon girl’s team comes into the game 1-0 after an overtime win over Eddyville-Blakesburg on Monday, while WACO played Pekin on Tuesday.

This will be the first full contest for both boy’s teams as Washington decided to skip the Mid-Prairie Jamboree due to the football playoffs.

The girls kick things off on Saturday at Washington at 6 P.M., while the boys tip off at 7:30.
