A small group of representatives from the City of Kalona and Mid-Prairie School District are traveling across eastern Iowa today. With a shared facility between the town and district under consideration, they’ll visit buildings with similar partnerships. Kalona City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says the goal is to find out the positives and negatives of the sharing agreements and what the involved parties would have done differently.

The group will stop at the Waverly Wellness Center, Postville Community Center, Nashua-Plainfield Community Center, and the Chickasaw Wellness Center in New Hampton.
