Mid-Prairie Travels to Albia for District Semi-Finals

The No. 12 Mid-Prairie football team travels to Albia tonight to take on the No. 2 Blue Demons in district semi-final football.

Mid-Prairie dominated the ball in their win over Davis County in the bad weather with Reid Miller throwing for two more touchdowns, making him 96-163 for 1,339 yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions on the year, he is sitting in the top three spots in just about every quarterback school record category. His favorite target continues to be Zach Schwartz with 30 catches for 393 yards and five touchdowns. On the running game Eesaa Baylor has 997 yards for 10 touchdowns on the season.

Albia is a well rounded offense. Their quarterback Leshen Brett is 44-83 with 1,112 yards 18 touchdowns and two interceptions. His favorite target is Zach Hugen with 734 yards on 27 catches and 12 touchdowns. The running game is split between three different backs, and led by Alex Schultz with 763 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Albia is the No. 1 team in the state in yards per completion, making the most of every pass that Brett throws.
