The Louisa County Conservation Board has named their “Friend of Conservation” for 2013. Jeanne Mott of Morning Side received the award for creating and serving as president of the Louisa County Trails Council. She also spearheaded the Pedal-Paddle-Walk-Trot last year, and the Musc-Lo-Des:Tri County Pedal this year. Executive Director of Louisa County Conservation Katie Hammond says they began the Friends of Conservation program in 2002.
