The community is invited to a meeting tonight that will deal with a potential shared building between the City of Kalona and Mid-Prairie School District.The meeting begins at 7pm at the Kalona Community Center. Information gathered during visits to buildings with similar sharing agreements last week will be discussed. Mid-Prairie Superintendent Mark Schneider says they may also get into the legal side of it. Schneider is meeting this morning with Kalona City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh to go over what he learned from the district’s bonding attorney about the legal requirements for this type of agreement.
