The Sigourney volleyball team had three all-conference players and two honorable mentions.

Jordan Carter and Sydney Davis were the two first team selections. Carter led the team in kills with 201 kills in conference play, 28 blocks and 31 aces, while Davis had 317 assists.

Head coach Chris Carter said she thought both of her first teamers earned a spot on the list.

“I was really happy with our all-conference selections, I feel that Sydney and Jordan really stepped up this year and played well all season and just did what we needed them to do in order for us to get our wins,” Carter said.

On second team was Becca Ohland who had 240 digs in the season.

Honorable mentions were Karah Appleget who was second in kills with 93, and Brroke Schroeder who had 32 kills.

Sigourney finished 8-2 in the South Iowa Cedar League.
