The Sound of Washington will be presenting its fall concert next week with a beach party theme. The 25-member group is an adult special needs choir with members from across Washington County and is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year. Director of the choir, Amy Drayfahl explains this concert will include the songs Down By the Bay, Don’t Worry Be Happy and a few Hawaiian songs. She adds that the group is excited to perform and invites the community to attend.
The free concert will be held next week, on Tuesday, November 19th at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington United Presbyterian Church. A free will offering will be collected to help fund scholarships for the participants.
