The Sound of Washington is putting on a freewill donation concert tonight.  Sound of Washington is a choir for special needs adults.  Coordinator Asenath Shetler says the choir is performing their 5th concert, and will feature various songs from “Do Re Mi” to “Peter Cottontail” and “Rubber Ducky.”

She says all the performers learn the words to the song first, followed by the melody and have been practicing once a week for the last 12 weeks.  The one hour performance is tonight at St. James Catholic Church in Washington beginning at 6:30 followed by a reception.
