Money raised at a fundraiser this weekend will be used to restore the steeple on Riverside’s 100 year old church. St Mary’s Church is holding a pancake fundraiser on Sunday from 7 to 1pm, with proceeds going to help with the steeples restoration. Linda Kron, with the church, says lightning and wind damaged the steeple a few years ago. The restoration is slated for the spring, and is expected to cost $80,000.
