Discussion and possible action regarding use of all-terrain vehicles on county roads is again on the Washington County Board of Supervisors’ agenda for tomorrow’s meeting. The supervisors tabled discussion last week and the week before, citing more follow-up was needed.

State legislators discussed a similar issue during the most recent legislative session. A state bill, House File 619, passed the House 75 to 22 on April 8th of this year and related to the operation of all-terrain vehicles on highways upon registration with the department of transportation as well as a registration fee and provides penalties.
