A more involved partnership between WACO School District and the cities within the district is being considered. The discussion began recently at a special meeting, where the district invited representatives from Wayland, Olds and Crawfordsville to go over ways they can benefit each other. Superintendent Darrell Smith says one example is having WACO students develop websites for the cities and a marketing plan that promotes the area. He says another way would be to set up internships for the students with the cities.
