The WACO volleyball team landed three players on the second team all-conference list along with two honorable mentions.

Erika Leichty is the first player on the second team list, with 124 kills and a team leading 49 aces and 351 digs on the season. Next is Rosemary Skriver who led the team in kills with 185, she also added 277 digs, and the final second teamer is Ashlyn Hammen who led the team in assists with 499, she also had 200 digs and 24 aces.

WACO head coach Jay Coble said with the quality teams in the conference this is a nice group to get on the all-conference list.

“For a team that finished 3-6 in the conference, you’re probably not going to have very many first team all-conference players, especially since there are ten teams in the conference and we have a powerful Mediapolis, WMU and IMS it is pretty tough, but it was awesome to see Rosemary and Ashlyn and Erika on second team,” Coble said. “Ashlyn Hammen what can you say, she was third in the conference in assists, set a new school record for assists and set the career record for assists.”

Honorable mentions for the Warriors are Katelyn White and Kalicia Miller. White had 236 digs and 31 assists on the season, while Miller had a team leading 47 blocks and 48 kills.

WACO finished 3-6 in the conference.
