An informational session is being held for those looking to learn more about the insect killing ash trees across the country. Louisa County Extension is hosting the Emerald Ash Borer meeting tomorrow evening at the Morning Sun Community Center. Extension Ag Program Assistant Andrea Farrier says attendees will learn how to identify an ash tree and spot symptoms of an Emerald Ash Borer infestation. They’ll also go over available treatment methods.

An expert from the Iowa DNR, the District Forester and the Emerald Ash Borer Outreach Coordinator will lead the workshop, and will be available to answer questions.
